As a Millwright, you would be expected to:
Receive instruction, and carry out necessary tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor
Able to work Shut Down work at various locations throughout BC and AB
Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and installation operations
Work at elevations
Layout, position and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications on assignments
Laser alignment of shaft coupling and bearings on pumps, motors, and drives
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Be able to work closely with the supervisor and trades
Requirements:
Strong commitment to safety including personal safety and the safety of co-workers
Must pay close attention to detail
Have the ability to meet deadlines,
CWB certification will be considered an asset
Red Seal
Fall Protection, Aerial workplace platform, Confined Space Entry and Monitoring and Respirator Fit Test, are requirements of this position
Willing to work out of town
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $45.00-$80.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
