Job Description

Simon's Property Maintenance is looking for a responsible individual to fill a on call shoveler role for the 2025/2026 snow season with the opportunity to transfer into full time in spring 2026 joining our landscaping and mowing crews.

Simon's Property Maintenance is a locally owned and operated property maintenance business that focuses on providing quality work and customer service to the Greater Saint John area. Starting in 2015 providing lawn mowing we have now grown to offer a variety of outdoor services from weekly lawn care to snow and ice management.

Responsibilities:

Clear sidewalks, entrances and hard to reach areas from snow using a shovel and snow blowers. Apply salt and sand to manage snow and ice on surfaces to prevent slip and falls. Maintain a schedule under pressure to complete all work on time. Keep equipment clean and in reasonable working condition. Perform equipment maintenance as required. Complete all work in a professional and safe manor. Input information into systems such as Jobber.
Skills and Requirements

Minimum Class 5 License or equivalent With Clean Record. Effective communication. CSA approved footwear. Reliable. Detail oriented.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
