GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
Titan is searching for a reliable, hardworking shop hand for our Grande Prairie location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a mature and responsible attitude while carrying out a variety of physical activities in and around the shop and field operations as directed.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Facility up-keep, maintenance, and organization, including general housekeeping duties.
- General maintenance of shop tools, equipment, yard, and vehicles.
- Assembly work that may require operating automated machinery and various power/hand tools.
- Prepare equipment for upcoming work.
- Load / unload trailers, towing trailers as required.
- Operate a skid steer to move equipment in and around the yard and field operations.
- Restocking shop consumables, picking up and delivering supplies to the field as needed.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and complete inspection reports in a timely manner.
- Lifting of equipment and tools required, up to 50lbs.
- Demonstrate a commitment and accountability to uphold Titan\xe2\x80\x99s strict safety standards.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License, with a clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract with no major violations required (non-GDL).
- 3-5 years driving experience.
- Experience operating a skid steer and towing equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Related water pumping or oilfield experience an asset.
- H2S and First Aid tickets an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast passed environment.
- Demonstrated focus on customer service and a strong commitment to uphold strict safety standards.
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50lbs for extended periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Indoor in a shop environment and outdoors including extreme weather conditions
- Physically demanding, including bending and heavy lifting
- Exposure to noise, chemicals, fumes, dust and industrial chemicals
