We are seeking a
highly organized and detail-oriented Shop Administrator
to join our maintenance team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of shop operations -- managing everything from purchase and work orders to inventory and communications between departments.

What You'll Do
Source and order parts and consumables
Create, receive, and track
purchase orders (POs)
Audit pricing and monitor inventory levels
Receive and maintain organization of inventory of
parts room
Maintain and update
work orders
and
maintenance logs
Provide mechanics with
equipment updates
and
schedules
Support with
month-end reporting
, PO trackers, and admin tasks
Assist with
quarterly inventory audits
and
equipment inspection reports
Manage internal emails and communications
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in an
administrative role
, within a
mechanics
shop or trucking environment
Strong organizational skills and
attention to detail
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with
Axon
or similar shop management software (an asset)
Ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments
Basic understanding of
truck maintenance
and
parts ordering
Valid Class 5 drivers license a strong asset
Reliable vehicle
Willing to learn and adapt to changing priorities
