About The Role

Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, the Shop/Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in managing parts inventory, maintaining precise stock levels, assembling parts packages, and driving the delivery of parts across multiple regions for an Alternative Fuel Transportation client. Collaborating with up to 18 different sites and various contractors, the Shop/Inventory Coordinator ensures effective communication and efficient coordination, playing an integral part in keeping operations running smoothly and on schedule.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Oversee parts inventory, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and record-keeping; Verify parts upon receipt for accuracy and condition, matching order specifications; Organize parts for easy access and maintain updated inventory records; Inspect deliveries, ensuring parts match orders and are in good condition; Store parts in designated areas, promoting safe handling and easy identification; Verify parts for specific programs, ensuring correct versions are available as needed; Deliver parts to locations within the Lower Mainland and arrange deliveries to Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan Valley; Ensure parts are securely packaged and delivered on time, keeping accurate records; Conduct monthly inventory checks for critical parts and bi-annual counts for full stock; Assemble and prepare parts packages for contractors based on project requirements; Track parts movements in and out of inventory, ensuring accurate documentation.

Our Must Haves

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or parts management /inventory software; Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract; Hold a valid Forklift certification; Committed to customer service and going the extra mile when servicing clients; Ability to think on your feet and utilize strong problem-solving capabilities.

Salary:

$50,000-$75,000 per year + Please note - the listed salary is dependent on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
