Candidates in 2nd year of apprenticeship and over are preferred.

Midwest Fabricators Ltd. provides custom metal fabrication, laser and plasma cutting, and welding services for industrial, commercial, and residential applications. We are proud members of the Canadian Welding Bureau, Manufacturer's Health and Safety Association, Edmonton Construction Association, and West Edmonton Business Association. We are enrolled in the Partners in Injury Reduction program and were awarded a Certificate of Recognition for providing a safe workplace.

The successful candidate for this job must have hands-on experience working in a custom fabrication shop and possess the qualifications listed below.

Requirements:

- Experience with rigging

- Experience/certification in Aerial Platform, Confined Space, Safety Harness

- Be able to work in a plant environment

- Can work Overtime

- Be able to follow directions

- Must have custom fabrication experience

- Detail-oriented

- Able to work in a team environment

- Have excellent communication skills
