Key Responsibilities



Amico is currently seeking a Shop Technician to support our Windsor area operations and projects. The successful candidate will work in our Windsor shop and will be responsible for repairs of the various construction equipment, attachments, and support equipment in the Amico fleet. Specific responsibilities include:

Ensure work is being performed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Amico's health and safety standards/policies Diagnose repairs required to ensure maximum uptime/productivity for the Amico Fleet as problems are reported by the field operations Maintain quality workmanship and to repair the Amico Fleet in a cost-efficient manner Prepare accurate service and repair reports in an accurate and timely manner

Key Qualifications/Requirements



Minimum of 3 years' experience in the repair of heavy equipment, trucks and trailers in the field and or shop Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and repair various hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical issues Test and ensure repairs have been completed properly Working knowledge of cutting, welding and fabrication Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize requests from the field operations Willing to work flexible shifts subject to the schedule of Amico's field operations Accurately update service work orders in a timely fashion with details of the repairs completed Organized team player with the ability to work with a sense of urgency based on the priority of the project Ability to communicate and work effectively with the fleet operations and support team Experience working with various makes of construction equipment and support equipment 421A or 310T licence will be considered an asset Valid Driver's license with a clean Driver's Abstract
