Automotive Tire Storage Personnel/ Shop Technician

to join our team.

Each Automotive Tire Storage personnel/Shop Technician must have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimum service. The goal is to keep both the tire storage system and shop operations running smoothly, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and customer service. This role will consist of a mix of duties related to both tire management and general support in the service area. You can also earn an additional $10 per hour tire season bonus.

Responsibilities and Duties:



Tire Inventory Management:

Keeping accurate records of tires in storage, including customer-owned tires and dealership inventory. Logging tire movements (when they are taken in or out of storage). Labeling tires clearly for easy identification (e.g., customer name, vehicle model, and season). Monitoring the condition of stored tires and reporting any damages or issues
Tire Organization and Safety

Organizing tires systematically for efficient access and retrieval. Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the storage area. Assisting with seasonal tire changeovers, which may involve retrieving, swapping, and storing tires during peak seasons (winter/summer). Coordinating with the service team to ensure timely retrieval of stored tires for customers. Monitor vehicles for damages and blemishes. Ability to lift, lower, hold and carry light to heavy loads.
Assisting Service Shop:

Providing basic help to mechanics or technicians, such as fetching tools, equipment, or parts. Occasionally helping with small tasks, like checking tire pressure, cleaning cars after service, or other minor repairs. Actively maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and lot. Ensure cleanliness of the shop.

Qualifications and Skills:



High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the automotive industry. Willingness to undergo in-house training. Proficiency in operating various automotive repair tools. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, requiring a good level of physical fitness and flexibility. Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds. Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
