Job Duties/Responsibilities

Performs independent, routine, or repetitive assignments using a variety of simple techniques and standard work procedures. Follow detailed written procedures and technical drawings Troubleshooting of equipment to identify/diagnose problems Equipment tear down, repair and reassembly using hand and air tools, hand tools, and precision measurement equipment Maintain excellent housekeeping Counting inventory Operate forklifts, handcarts, dollies, pallet jacks and overhead cranes Ability to travel to remote job site locations as needed Participation in the rotational on-call schedule Active participation in FET's HSE program.

Skills/Knowledge

Basic knowledge of hydraulics & mechanics Must have a mechanical aptitude Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Good communication and comprehension skills (verbally and written) Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to change direction Capable to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Class 5 driver's license with a good driver's abstract required.

Experience

3+ years' experience in a mechanical based role Forklift and/or Reach truck experience and certification preferred Experience related to hydraulics preferred, but not required Prior experience with service/drilling rigs considered an asset.
