Pay:

$21-$26/hour (based on experience) + overtime pay

Schedule:

11 days on / 3 days off (rotation starts Mondays)

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (weekends as needed)

About the Role

Innovex Canada ULC is hiring a

Shop Technician

in Bonnyville, AB. In this role, you'll be responsible for equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

Disassemble, inspect, assemble, pressure test, and paint pressure-containing equipment. Repair and maintain valves (gate valves, plug valves, chokes, etc.). Maintain valve department equipment, including testing units, surface grinders, lapping tables, caustic tanks, and pressure washers. Assist with general shop duties: shipping/receiving, warehousing, customer property repair. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Collaborate with other divisions and branches. Accurately complete and submit required paperwork on time. Maintain a 90-100% safety compliance score. Support Innovex's quality programs, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

Valid Class 5 driver's license (required)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, bend, twist, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods Willing to work outdoors in severe weather conditions when required

Preferred Qualifications

Wellhead/frac equipment experience Gate valve knowledge or repair experience Forklift experience Overhead crane experience
