We're looking for a highly experienced, safety-first Shop Supervisor to lead our teams within MegaFab operations in Saskatoon, SK. MegaFab is Threeosix's full-service, modernized, high-capacity structural steel fabrication group that maintains a wealth of knowledge in engineering, project management, fabrication, welding, and multi-discipline construction execution. Responsibilities will include:

Leading and supervising a team of skilled trades personnel within the MegaFab facility, ensuring efficient and high-quality fabrication processes. Overseeing the daily operations of the shop floor, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation to meet production targets and deadlines. Ensuring strict adherence to all safety protocols and company policies, promoting a culture of safety excellence among all team members. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to welders and fabricators, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing fabrication techniques. Monitoring work progress and quality control, conducting inspections to ensure products meet project specifications and industry standards. Collaborating with the Project Coordinator, Business Unit Lead, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution from planning to delivery. Managing equipment maintenance and repair schedules, coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Providing feedback and supporting the professional development of shop personnel. Maintaining accurate production records, reports, and documentation related to projects, personnel, and equipment. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity. Assisting with material handling and inventory management as required to support shop operations.
We Require:

5-10 years of Welding experience in a heavy industrial or custom fabrication environment. 1-3 years of proven experience as a Shop Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a fabrication or manufacturing setting. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Valid Journeyperson Welder certification is preferred. CWB Level 1 and/or Level 2 Inspection certifications will be considered an asset.
