Shop Manager We are looking for an enthusiastic shop manager to be in charge of the day-to-day operations of our commercial heavy-duty truck & trailer facility. A leader capable of managing and coordinate staff scheduling to ensure efficient and productive performance. Ensure fleet is maintained at the highest professional and safe levels to service all customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs. The shop manager\'s responsibilities include driving efficiencies, enforcing company policies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing inventory, and facility costs To be successful as a shop manager you should have excellent people management skills and a good understanding of business operations. An outstanding shop manager should be able to ensure the smooth operations and maximum efficiency of a shop. Shop Manager Responsibilities:
  • Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating employees.
  • Preparing employee work schedules.
  • Addressing employee disputes, questions, and concerns.
  • Ensuring all staff adhere to safety standards, company policies, and procedures.
  • Managing fleet PM procedures in a proactive manner at all times.
  • Ordering, recording, and managing inventory.
  • Ensuring the shop is adequately stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Work in partnership with lead tech to ensure best practices are adherd at all times.
  • Handling all equipment complaints.
Shop Manager Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Strong preference for Red Seal or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a commercial truck & facility management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs for scheduling, inventory control and fleet records.
  • Strong customer focus and decision-making skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits:
