We currently have opportunities for energetic, hardworking individuals to join our Labourer team on our day shift.

Position Summary

The Labourer is responsible for unloading containers of material, moving equipment/products, and small assemblies. This position is best suited to very versatile people that know their way around equipment and most hand tools, can read metric and imperial tape measures, are self-starters with a can-do attitude. Must be physically fit, as the job requires many different areas to work in, and some require moving material.

Key Competencies

Attention to detail and good hand eye coordination is key. Physically fit; able to handle weights up to 23 kgs (50lbs), standing for extended periods. Fluent in English (verbal and written) Document use and numeracy. Strong team working skills. Reliable and honest.

Responsibilities

Sanding, stripping, or otherwise prepping material for coating Moving equipment Unloading boxes, trucks, pallets, containers Assembling items as required Inspecting material after coating for quality assurance Cleaning up plant as required Maintain a safe work environment and support others in working safely

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and up to 80 lbs assisted as needed
