Progressive Cabinets & Millwork, a member of the Cherubini Group of Companies, is looking for a Shop Labourer to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Summary

The Shop Labourer will assist our CNC Operators by safely and efficiently moving materials amongst our CNC machines. If you're physically able and open to repetitive yet consistent work, this could be the job for you.

Responsibilities

Assist CNC Operators by loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the CNC matching and edge banding area. Work with CNC Operators to maintain a safe and organized work environment Preform general labour tasks associated with cabinet manufacturing, such as sweeping, basic use of hand tools, etc. Willingness to learn and a desire to collaborate with your colleagues. Be an active participant in Progressive Cabinets and Millwork's health and safety program.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar work environment is an asset, but not required. Good communication skills and a steady attitude. Ability to reliably commute for your assigned shift of 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday Willingness to learn new skills related to cabinet manufacturing.
