Job Description

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN DEAD MAN'S FLATS, ALBERTA.

We are looking for a reliable Shop Helper to join our busy machine & fabrication shop.
This is a hands-on role supporting daily shop operations.

Responsibilities:



Load and unload metal plate onto the plasma cutting table Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently Perform saw cutting and grinding of metal material Assist with basic machine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, general upkeep) Support machinists and fabricators with day-to-day tasks Maintain a clean, organized work area Help with material handling, shipping/receiving, and general shop duties

Requirements:



Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely Comfortable working in an industrial shop environment Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn Safety-focused mindset at all times Related experience an asset

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday (overtime as needed)

Location:

204- 1 Limestone Valley Road, Dead Man's Flats AB

Wage:

$20.00 / hour

This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and build a long-term future in the trades, with exposure to machining, fabrication, and industrial equipment.
