Overview

Our team at EuroCraft Furnishings is seeking a shop hand to join our team. We specialize in office, hotel, kitchen, and display furniture. The ideal candidate will have experience helping around a warehouse, completing tasks as assigned by your supervisor, and demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. The shop hand will work independently or with other team members to ensure our shop stays clean and projects are completed on time, while adhering to safety protocols. It is considered an asset to have previous woodworking experience or experience working with power tools or large machinery, but not required. We are looking for someone who is a team player, listens to and completes tasks as assigned, and goes the extra mile.

Duties

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various assembly tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Maintain all assigned tools and equipment as needed. Understand and follow all documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Assist other departments with tasks when needed. Remove garbage from site, vacuum, dust, and maintain a clean working environment. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely. A working knowledge of cabinetry and/or furniture assembly is an asset. Good organization skills. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently as an independent or as part of a team. Self-motivated, dependable, and possesses a strong work ethic. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials as needed. Must have a good understanding of English.
We are looking for a full time, permanent employee.

Start date: IMMEDIATELY

Hours of operation: Mon-Thurs 7:30 am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 2:30pm
