Karve Builders Canada is a turnkey construction company specializing in the installation of workforce housing and other modular buildings. Karve Builders is a Calgary based company with projects nation wide. Founded in 2019, this new construction company is focused on bringing in the right talent to help build the foundation of growth for years to come.

Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop/Yard Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of electrical aptitude, mechanical ability, and general hands-on skills to support daily shop and yard operations.

POSITION SUMMARY

Key Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Service and maintain blast shelter fleet Perform light electrical tasks, including hooking up generators to test HVAC systems Carry out basic carpentry tasks as needed Perform basic mechanical repairs or maintenance Operate shop and yard equipment such as zoom booms and forklifts Load and unload transport trucks Unload and re-stock project trailers Maintain inventory within the yard and shop areas Pick up and transport materials as required
Must-Have Qualifications:

Electrical experience (Apprentice level preferred; Journeyman not required) Valid, insurable driver's license Ability to haul and back up trailers confidently
Location: Spruce Grove, Alberta (In-town position)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day
Wage: Based on experience and qualifications
