Job Description

T & A Rock Works Inc. has been established since 1979 and is based out of Kelowna, BC. T & A specializes in rock drilling, controlled blasting, rockfall mitigation, shotcrete & shoring as well as non-explosive rock removal.

The company is seeking a Labourer/Shop Hand.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs Organize and clean tools, machinery, and the shop/yard area Load and unload equipment and materials Deliver tools, parts, or supplies to job sites as needed Perform general labor tasks to support field crews Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow company safety procedures at all times Sharpen rock drill bits

Requirements:



Previous experience in construction, mechanical work, or general labor preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Reliable transportation to and from the yard location Valid

Class 5 Driver's License

required (Class 1 or 3 an asset) Forklift or skid steer experience Positive attitude and strong work ethic Willingness to travel or assist in the field occasionally if required Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
