Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in diagnosing and repairing various types of vehicles and machinery. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Automotive Mechanic will work with a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, and will be responsible for maintaining safety standards in the workplace.

Duties

Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Work with farm machinery and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize power tools effectively for repairs and installations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about vehicle issues and repair options. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop. Follow safety protocols while operating cranes or other heavy machinery as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems. Familiarity with farm machinery and industrial equipment is a plus. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $42.55-$43.48 per hour
