Job Description

Dependable Truck & Tank Limited is currently accepting applications for the position of Shop Coordinator/Supervisor . This position requires an individual with sound leadership and the ability to motivate all employees in a selected area.

Required:

• Strong mechanical aptitude in a mechanical atmosphere such as automotive or heavy truck.
• Must be analytical, organized and capable of making sound decisions.
• Responsible for coordinating the activities of employees and promoting a safe workplace.
• Understand the scope of work and organize the workflow in the shop to effectively meet customer's deadlines.
• Responsible for ensuring jobs are done safety, correctly and completed on time Assist with setups.
• Verify process times against planned times. Verify and sign off on all job sheets. Ensure a high level of quality control.
• Enforces in process checks and performs random inspections.
• Train and mentor employees to increase their skill level in all activities.
• On an ongoing basis, monitor employees performance, identify and resolve issues and concerns. Maintain communications between departments.
• Preference will be given to those who come from the fuel/petroleum industry
• Perform other duties as needed and requested by manager

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
