Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist in various shop operations, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the production process. This role is essential for maintaining a smooth workflow and supporting the assembly line tasks.

Duties

Film Plotting:

Load align, and cut PPF, window tint and vinyl materials using a plotter machine. Ensure correct patterns, measurements, and templates are selected based on vehicle specifications. Inspect cut pieces for accuracy and quality before handing off to installers. Report and correct any cutting errors or equipment issues. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of plotter equipment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Shop Cleaning & Maintenance:

Sweep and mop shop floors to keep the work environment clean and safe. Wipe down workbenches, tool stations, and common surfaces after each job. Remove leftover film, tape, and debris from work areas promptly. Empty garbage bins and recycling at the end of the day.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills to operate plotting software. Ability to read and follow technical instructions. Ability to handle and move film rolls around and to stand for extended periods.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
