Northgate Industries is looking for a full-time Shipping/Receiving/Forklift Operator.

Qualifications/Required Knowledge & Skills

High School Diploma and 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment Have working knowledge with all shipping equipment Must be able to operate a forklift and have a valid Forklift license Schedule pick up and deliveries with suppliers, and communicate instructions Working knowledge of WHMIS and OH&S Physically demanding; requires lifting capability of up to 50lbs Must be reliable, dependable and have a good attendance record Valid safety certificates such as: Fall Arrest, WHMIS, First-Aid, Forklift Operator Certificate recommended Valid driver's license Clean Drivers Abstract is a must
Responsibilities

Oversees the shipping process and has ability to meet shipping goals and standards Ensure Health & Safety policy and procedures are met Answering the phone, filling out paperwork, filing and tracking shipments Ensure shipping area is clean, clear of hazards and organized Assist other department workers when required Perform other duties as required such as keep fleet vehicles maintained and make deliveries Must ensure you are wearing appropriate PPE dictated by the work conditions (indoor and outdoor) Be punctual for shifts, flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.70-$24.81 per hour
