Our areas of expertise are in rubber molding, material development, engineering, injection molding and over molding.

Position Summary

We're looking for a Shipper/Receiver Lead Hand to take charge of our warehouse shipping and receiving activities, while also supporting auxiliary production equipment and providing shift coverage when needed. The role will mainly be on the day shift, however expected to provide coverage on night shift as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving Leadership

Lead and support daily shipping and receiving operations. Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including scheduling, documentation, and inspection. Ensure proper handling, storage, and inventory of goods. Maintain accurate shipping/receiving logs and records. Train and mentor the Shipper/Receiver to ensure consistent performance and adherence to procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and escalate to the Supervisor when necessary. Report injuries, safety violations, and procedural issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Auxiliary Production Support

Oversee auxiliary production equipment in the warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Ensure production areas are stocked with required materials and paperwork for each shift. Provide lead hand coverage for production during night shifts as needed.

General Duties

Provide shift coverage and backup support for the Warehouse Supervisor. Identify and coordinate support staff (e.g., Maintenance, Process Technicians). Participate in other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of shipping/receiving experience, with supervisory or lead hand experience preferred. Forklift Certification, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and First Aid Certification. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to foster teamwork and maintain positive working relationships. Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent record of safety, attendance, and production quality. Ability to lift to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks. Willingness to take supervisor training and work flexible shifts
