detail-oriented and organized Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Specialist
to join our team in Red Deer. This position plays a key role in managing inventory control processes, ensuring accurate shipments and receipts, and maintaining seamless coordination between production, logistics, and accounting functions.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in shipping and inventory operations within a manufacturing environment and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain inventory control through regular cycle counts and system adjustments.
Perform reorder activities to ensure adequate stock levels of parts and materials.
Organize and coordinate outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and scheduling.
Prepare shipping documentation and complete all customs paperwork.
Create and post shippers for jobs to support timely invoicing.
Review and post receipts in the system to maintain accurate inventory and cost records.
Maintain inventory and shipping records in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies and support workflow.
Uphold safety and compliance standards in all shipping and receiving operations.
Qualifications
Minimum
3 years' experience
in shipping, receiving, or inventory control (manufacturing experience preferred).
Strong computer literacy and attention to detail; ability to navigate ERP systems efficiently.
Experience preparing shipping and customs documentation.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift operation experience preferred.
Experience with
M1 ERP
software is an asset (training provided).
