Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Onsite)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (1-hour lunch)

About the Role
Upstaff Employment Services is hiring a Shipping & Inventory Coordinator on behalf of our government client in Alberta. This is a hands-on role combining administrative and warehouse responsibilities. You'll be part of the distribution team managing shipping, receiving, and inventory control for high-security and serialized materials.
The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in operating reach trucks and other material-handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and ship all orders accurately within 24-48 hours.
Handle serialized and high-security materials with precision and care.
Safely operate a Reach Truck and other warehouse equipment (PPE required).
Perform regular inventory counts, reconciliations, and stock organization.
Receive shipments, verify quantities, and update records within 24 hours.
Maintain daily shipment data in Shipping Manager and MOVES systems.
Coordinate bulk distributions and monitor shipping timelines.
Participate in warehouse safety inspections and Joint Health & Safety Committee activities.
Provide friendly and professional support to internal teams and external stakeholders.

What You'll Need
Physically fit and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Valid driver's license (in good standing).
Experience with Reach Truck and warehouse material-handling equipment.
Strong computer skills and attention to detail in recordkeeping.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements
Criminal Record Check (Level 1) - completed by Edmonton Police or RCMP (mandatory).
CSA-approved safety boots - required for all warehouse work.
