We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate / Shipping Coordinator. This position is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of all warehousing duties in a productive and safe manner. The Warehouse Associate ensures all customers orders are picked, packed and shipped with 100% compliance to customers\xe2\x80\x99 and company standards. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring all inventory is received and put away according to Mechanix Wear Standard Operating Procedures. As part of the overall Warehouse Team, this position will also be called upon to complete other warehouse tasks such as cycle counting, value added processing, customer kitting and keeping the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role requires experience in operating shipping stations and related carrier software programs, full cycle distribution and warehousing experience, a strong attention to detail, and a positive work ethic. This is a full-time, on-site position working 8:30 AM \xe2\x80\x93 5:00 PM, Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday. The Warehouse Associate pay rate will be $21.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience. This is not a singularly focused role. This individual must be comfortable and experienced in multi-tasking on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: 1. Warehousing Duties, specific duties include but are not limited to: \xc2\xb7 Verify orders prior to packing \xc2\xb7 Ensure all packages are labeled correctly and prepared for shipment \xc2\xb7 Ensure all orders are packed out with the paperwork required \xc2\xb7 Select the required shipping material to ensure most efficient dimensional weight \xc2\xb7 Operate shipping software applications provided by various carriers \xc2\xb7 Communicate with shipping and freight carriers as required \xc2\xb7 Palletizing shipments according to various customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements \xc2\xb7 Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations \xc2\xb7 Lift packages up to 50lbs, organize stock and maintain inventories \xc2\xb7 Picks product for customer orders ensuring correct quantities and product accuracy \xc2\xb7 Print labels and perform value added processing to inventory according to customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements \xc2\xb7 Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working conditions \xc2\xb7 Assists with other activities surrounding warehouse operations \xc2\xb7 Maintain a clean and safe working environment Knowledge and Skills: \xc2\xb7 Comfortable multitasking, performing a variety of tasks within tight timelines as required \xc2\xb7 Familiar with all order management duties \xe2\x80\x93 picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put aways etc \xc2\xb7 Experience with a wide range of warehousing and distribution duties, in a fast-paced distribution environment \xc2\xb7 Comfortable multitasking, performing a variety of tasks as required \xc2\xb7 Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment \xc2\xb7 Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing \xc2\xb7 Ability to work well under pressure \xc2\xb7 Professional appearance and manners \xc2\xb7 Computer literate; knowledge of warehouse management systems and technology (WMS) shipping and freight systems \xc2\xb7 Physical ability to safely lift 50lbs repetitively \xc2\xb7 Time management and prioritization skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to work well as a part of team as well as independently \xc2\xb7 High level of work commitment and attention to detail Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 High school diploma or GED required \xc2\xb7 A certificate or diploma in a related field preferred \xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse role with demonstrated experience in all key distribution duties - 2 Year of reach truck experience Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $21.00-$23.00 per hour Benefits:
