We're seeking a

SHIPPING CLERK

to join our team in Port Alberni.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

Manage all shipping and receiving activities for inbound and outbound materials. Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure outgoing shipments meet company standards. Track shipments, verify receipts, and maintain accurate records of deliveries. Develop and maintain a daily shipment schedule to optimize material flow. Review and approve freight charges and invoices, escalating discrepancies as needed. Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to confirm shipping details and resolve issues.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

2+ years of logistics or supply chain experience. Experience in aviation or manufacturing (an asset). Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to quickly learn new logistics and shipment management systems. Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. and follow safe handling practices. A team-oriented mindset and commitment to company values and ethics.
