The Shipping and Receiving Lead is a key contributor to the smooth and efficient flow of materials at Bloomstar, with a primary focus on managing all inbound and outbound product movement through the cooler. This role oversees shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes, ensuring that all goods are accurately scanned, verified, and documented in alignment with company procedures. Working closely with production and logistics teams, the Lead ensures that materials are readily available, properly organized, and prepared to support daily operations.
By maintaining accuracy, safety, and organization in the cooler and surrounding areas, the Shipping and Receiving Lead plays an essential part in supporting production timelines and overall operational efficiency. Success in this role depends on strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving Coordination
Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, verifying quantity, quality, and documentation.
Scan and track products as they enter or leave the cooler, maintaining accurate records.
Direct the movement of goods from receiving docks to storage and production areas.
Prepare shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading and confirm purchase orders.
Ensure all shipping and receiving procedures align with company standards.
Inventory & Cooler Management
Maintain accurate inventory within the cooler through routine scanning and regular audits.
Support picking, packing, and staging of products for production use.
Ensure cooler space is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or issues proactively.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with production, logistics, and other internal teams to meet daily operational needs.
Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to support timely shipments.
Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, following all prescribed protocols.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Forklift Operator Certification desired
Must be able to work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
