Job Description

Sprung Structures' 13-decade history began in 1887 designing custom canvas products. The Sprung family of inventors innovated and improved the technology over the years, applying it for structures in multiple industries including, military bases, schools, hospitals, sports arenas, fabrication plants, warehouses, and now sound stages.

Sprung is looking for qualified individuals to fill the role of General Labourer in our Shipping and Receiving department at our company headquarters in Aldersyde, Alberta.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties will include but are not limited to, reading and/or preparing shipping documents; packing of components; banding of crates; maintaining an orderly yard; operation of forklift, and other duties as required.

Qualifications

Solid knowledge of equipment, Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly, Familiar with the manufacturing industry, with construction industry experiences an asset, Strong reading and writing skills in English for labels, safety warnings and guidelines, Attention to detail is a must, Ability to meet deadlines with a great safety record, Excellent oral and written communication skills

Training:

Forklift training will be provided
Skill in excess of these requirements will be considered an asset.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday

6:30 am to 5:00 pm (40 hours)
