POSITION SUMMARY Benson Medical Industries Inc. - CELEBRATING 47 YEARSOur expanding veterinary specialty medical equipment company now has a recession proof, long term diversified career position located at our Markham Main office.
Duties to include light shipping and receiving of medical products, inventory logistics and control, assembly of new medical equipment including in shop service with occasional incentive based field service for the trained person.The successful candidate will have a mature work ethic, good command of English language to manage customer service, good computer skills, punctual, reliable, with a proven college education or workplace background of technical or electronic skills Focused training provided by our experienced employees for the selected ambitious applicant.
On completion of our employment process the successful applicant will enjoy a good salary based on qualifications and experience, a comfortable 35 hour work week environment plus a healthcare package.HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pmDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comfortable working with computer hardware equipment.
• Pay high attention to detail
• English language proficiency
• Manually lifting weights between 5 lbs and 50 lbs.
• Strong written and oral communication
• Attention to detail and accuracy over speed
• Excellent customer service skills
• Willing to go above and beyond to provide the best for our team and clients
• Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team
• Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations
• Problem solving, decision making, planning and organization skills

• Must have and maintain a strong attendance record.

• Committed to finding the most economical way to ship products
• Willing to work with the team to update internal processes and ways of doing things to improve workflow
• Ability to work in shipping, service or administrative areas, depending on the need
• Has mechanical and handy experience (preferred)
• French language is an asset.
• Capable of following instructions accurately and collaboratively.

• Ability to interact with others regularly.
• 3-5 years warehouse experience an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Priority is given to working collaboratively in a team environment to find the best shipping solutions for all products and opening to changing methods to meet updated requirements
• Willing to learn about our products and be well versed in the latest products that we ship
• Always looking for ways to improve workflow
• Ability to follow directions of supervisors, managers and follow all good administrative and shipping practices, safety rules and regulations.
• Always looking for better ways to work with our clients, internal and external team members, building long term relationships with vendors, suppliers, shipping companies and our veterinary, medical and dental products.
