Job Description
Position Available: Shipper/Receiver - Full Time - Swift Current, SK
Duties include:
Shipping and receiving of feeds and ingredients both bulk and bags. Daily checks for stock and loading customer bag finished feeds. Responsible for warehouse inventory as well as monthly inventory count. All documentation of production and completion of HACCP records. Cleaning work areas. Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Outstanding organizational abilities and demonstrated attention to detail.
- 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience.
- Able to manage priorities and solve problems.
- Familiarity with HACCP (food safety) would be considered a definite asset.
- Previous feed mill, or agricultural experience is an asset.
- Knowledge, understanding and daily adherence to workplace safety is mandatory.
- Must be physically capable of lifting 25kg.
- Steel toed boots are mandatory.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous forklift experience is a must.
- Have a positive, steady and upbeat approach in day-to-day tasks
