To fulfill Pattison Agricultures\' vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a, Apprentice Service Technician - Small Ag/Bobcat/Turf to join our fast-paced, energetic dealership in Swift Current, SK. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize state of the art ag technology and be part of the future of agriculture. A great place to start your career as an equipment Technician is in the Small Ag/Bobcat/Turf department. You will get the opportunity to diagnose, repair and maintain small tractors, Bobcat, small-powered equipment, and tow-behind equipment, getting familiar with the systems and tools used in the shop. Under the direction of the Service Manager and Service Team Leads you will deliver quality service work, exceptional customer service and be part of one of Canada\'s top John Deere dealerships.

Responsibilities

This individual\'s responsibilities include:

• Inspection, diagnosis, repair, of equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship
• Applying the use of specialized tools, cutting edge technology, and innovative solutions to diagnose and complete complex repairs
• Performing preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment and related components
• Maintaining current knowledge of Bobcat, Turf and John Deere agriculture products
• The ability to use diagnostic tools and basic computer functions
• Participate in John Deere University training and dealer-led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities

Requirements:

You might be a fit for this position if you:

• Are mechanically inclined and have performed basic maintenance and repairs on small engine equipment

• Have a desire to learn and a willingness to work hard
• Have taken some formal training in mechanics and/or farming background/experience
• Are familiar with engines, hydraulics, power-trains, and air-conditioning
• Candidates with knowledge and familiarity of John Deere and competitive products would be an asset
• Candidates with a Journeyperson Agricultural Technician (or equivalent i.e. Heavy Equipment, Automotive) certification are a definite asset
