Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated

Shipper-Receiver / Production Worker

to join our team in Markham, ON. This position offers a mix of warehouse and light production work, ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Approximately

15-20%

of your daily tasks will involve

shipping and receiving duties

, including forklift operation (electric counterbalance). The remainder of the shift (around

6-7 hours per day

) will be focused on

pillow assembly and packing

on the production line.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping and receiving duties, including handling incoming and outgoing materials. Operate an

electric counterbalance forklift

safely and efficiently. Assist with

pillow assembly, packing, and labeling

in the production area. Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Support other warehouse and production operations as needed.

Requirements

2-3 years of shipping/receiving experience

in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Valid

counterbalance forklift license

(electric preferred). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Markham, ON (L3P): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

Shipper/Receiver: 1 year (required) Counterbalance Forklift: 1 year (required) Ms Excel/Outlook: 1 year (required)
