About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Shipper-Receiver to support our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure our workspace is organized. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity for someone who thrives in a physical, fast-paced environment and takes pride in precision.

Key Responsibilities

Load/offload flatbeds, vans, and short trucks with forklift Stage and prepare shipments based on daily schedules Contact third parties to arrange for pick up or shipments Maintain accuracy and labeling of inbound/outbound loads Organize and stock materials in shop and storage areas Inspect items and report any damage or defects Complete data recording for inventory Support packaging (skidding, strapping, boxing) Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in all work areas Create shipping labels and documentation Fulfill requisitions and distribute materials as required

Qualifications

Forklift Certification and previous experience required Overhead crane experience is an asset Excellent communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license 3+ years' experience in a similar shipping/receiving role Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons Positive team player Computer and math skills

This is a full-time permanent position. Hours of work consist of 44 hours/week. Pay is based on experience and ability. The pay range is $27-34/hour.
