Shipper and Receiver

Overview:

The Shipper and Receiver is responsible for efficiently coordinating the movement of goods in and out of the facility to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products. This role supports operational efficiency through meticulous attention to documentation, communication with freight carriers, and proper handling of inventory. Experience with customs procedures and tariffs is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, package, and ship materials to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments. Generate and manage shipping and receiving documentation, including labels, customs paperwork, and postage. Handle incoming and outgoing packages, ensuring accuracy, safety, and proper record-keeping. Coordinate shipments with freight companies and internal/external stakeholders to prioritize deliveries. Verify and authorize the correctness of all incoming goods and distribute items to appropriate warehouse areas. Maintain organized workspaces and contribute to continuous improvement in logistics processes. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1-3 years experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations. Knowledge of customs regulations and tariff processes is an asset. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
