Reporting to the Shipping & Inventory Team lead, the Shipper and Receiver is responsible for receiving deliveries, verifying shipments, preparing outbound documentation, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. They will also be monitoring consumables, updating records in real time, participating in regular counts, and maintaining proper storage practices.
Primary Accountabilities (
What do I own)
1. Receiving
Unloading all deliveries upon arrival with forklift or other established method
Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately verified against shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, packing slips).
Inspect and count materials received; report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
2. Shipping/ Order Fulfillment:
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping according to established procedures and timelines.
. Load trucks for shipment with forklift or other established method
Label and document outgoing shipments accurately for traceability and compliance
. Prepare bills of lading for all shipments accurately for traceability and compliance
3. Inventory Management - Yard
Maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper documentation ,safe and effective handling of stock, and by maintaining a well-kept yard.
Update inventory records in the system in real time upon receiving or shipping materials.
Support the implementation and execution of the corporate inventory strategy
Participate in and manage weekly, monthly and annual inventory counts of consumables and finished product
Ensure proper storage of all production materials and finished product

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Business or technical Diploma/Degree considered an asset
Valid Forklift (counterbalance) certification and previous related work experience
Candidate can work in outdoor conditions all year round as required, and able to lift 50lbs consistently
Valid driver's license
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry systems
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices is a plus.
