Shipper And Receiver
Job Description
Williams and White is a custom machine and fabrication shop that has been in business since 1957. Currently we are looking for a shipper/receiver. This is an integral position in our company ensuring that all in coming and outgoing shipments
Duties include:
- utilize our JobBOSS ERP (computer software) to properly ship out and receive all goods at the company - Local, domestic, and international shipments
- Forklift operation
-Crate Building / Pallet Building
-Wood Cutting and preparation
-Driving the shop truck as needed
-Machine Packaging
-Shop assistance and clean up
-Performing assigned maintenance tasks around the shop including proper logging
-Participating in improvement projects with the team
-Moving material to machining centers
Required skills:
-Computer skills
-Forklift operation skills
-Ability to lift 50lbs
-Shop crane use skills
-Experience organizing domestic and international shipments
-Knowledge of tariff HS codes
-Knowledge of international shipping incoterms.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
Operating Forklift: 3 years (preferred)
Building pallets or crates: 1 year (preferred)
Shipping & Receiving : 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
