Job Description

Responsibilities as a Leader :



Plan and evaluate operations of a restaurant.

Estimate food requirements, place orders and maintain the inventory.

Training staff in job duties, sanitation, safety procedures and quality control.

Resolve customer complaints and ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed.

Prepare and submit reports and ensuring to meet and exceed the targets.

Lead by example and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Maintain record of stock, sales and wastage in accordance with company policies.

Deploying the work schedules and motivating staff to perform well.

Supervise and monitor the performance of staff.

Ensure proper operation of kitchen and restaurant equipment.


Responsibilities as a Team Member :



Customer Service:

Greet and seat guests:

Some roles may include welcoming guests and directing them to their seats.

Take orders:

Crew members are responsible for accurately recording customer orders, often using a point-of-sale (POS) system.

Provide friendly and efficient service:

Food service workers should be knowledgeable about the menu, able to answer customer questions, and ensure a positive dining experience.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints:

Crew members may be responsible for addressing customer concerns and escalating serious issues to management.

Ensure customer satisfaction:

Service crew members strive to make sure customers are happy with their food and service.
Food Preparation and Handling:

Prepare food:

Some crew members may assist with basic food preparation.

Serve food:

Crew members serve food to customers, ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation.

Maintain food safety and hygiene:

Food service workers must follow food safety regulations, including proper handwashing, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention.

Operate kitchen equipment:

Some crew members may operate equipment like fryers, grills and following safety procedures.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness of the work area:

Food service workers are responsible for keeping their workstations, tables, and the surrounding area clean and organized.

Clean and reset tables:

Busser roles may be responsible for clearing tables, resetting them for new customers, and ensuring the dining area is tidy.

Restock supplies:

crew members may be responsible for restocking supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments.
Other Responsibilities:

Assist other team members:

Food service associates may assist other staff with various tasks as needed.

Attend training and meetings:

Crew members may be required to attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on procedures and regulations.

Handle cash transactions:

Some crew members may handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
