Shift Sales Manager Shift Auto Group, Eastern Canada’s fastest growing automotive retailer, is seeking a Shift Sales Manager. Who We Are: Shift Auto Group is headquartered in Fredericton, New Brunswick and consists of New Car Dealerships (Volvo Cars New Brunswick, Fredericton Mitsubishi, Grand Falls Hyundai) as well as three St. Croix Auto used car dealerships (Fredericton, St. Stephen, St. George, New Brunswick) as well as ReCar. Started just over four years ago in 2018, ReCar currently has 6 locations (Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton, Woodstock in New Brunswick, Stratford (Charlottetown), PEI, and St. John’s, NL). Roles and Responsibilities This is a very unique position. With 12 locations currently and many more at some stage of development, there is never a week where at least one of our various Shift locations isn’t in need of an experienced, high-quality Sales Manager. Sometimes it will be filling in for a vacationing Sales Manager or General Manager. Sometimes it will be helping us get a newly opened ReCar or a newly acquired New Car Dealership opened and off the ground. Sometimes it may be in the training room working on skills with other team members. This Sales Manager will be traveling to our different dealerships all over the Atlantic Provinces, and in the future possible other areas in North America, filling important roles within the group. Reporting directly to ownership, the Shift Sales Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Filling in for Sales Managers, Branch Managers and General Managers across our

organization, as assigned by Head Office.

• Assisting our ReCar team open new branches across Canada and into the United

States.

• Ensuring all Team Members follow our documented and successful sales process
• Providing exceptional service throughout our Guest’s experience including world-class

vehicle deliveries.

• Leading our onsite team of Salespeople/Vehicle Advisors, Finance Manager and other team

members depending on the dealership.

• Leading the Sales Team by providing support and coaching/mentorship.
• Working with all the Vehicle Advisors to assist them in helping our guests.
• Technology – We are a data-driven company and you will need to manage our various

technology tools for the branch including our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and various others.

• Working in training room to help assist train Managers, Salespeople and Vehicle Advisors in

learning and perfecting our processes and methods. Requirements:

• A strong history of success in the Automotive Industry, specifically in sales or

management

• Although not a requirement, Bilingual (English & French) would be a definite asset
• Valid driver's license
• Must like technology and be able to operate within modern software effectively
• Excellent client service skills and communication
• Organization and a great attitude is an absolute must

Travel Demands:

• You will be required to travel and operate branches in the absence of managers as

needed, as well as assisting opening new ReCar locations as well as working with newly acquired new car dealerships. This includes all dealerships owned by Shift Auto Group and will include moving forward travel that could include all of Canada as well as the United States. Location As there is significant travel involved in this role, you must enjoy travel and enjoy working in different locations regularly, with time at locations you will work out of being as short as a day or two, or in some cases several months. Due to this, you can live in any location in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or PEI and fill this role with Shift.
