$37.55 hourly

Schedule:

Depends on program

Overnight: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Weekdays/Weekends: 4 to 12-hour shifts

No On-Call Required

What You'll Do

As a Shift Registered Nurse, you'll play a hands-on role in the community, visiting clients in schools and homes to deliver personalized, high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing clinical care tailored to each client's needs, including: + Pediatric care (school & home)
+ Palliative care
+ Wound care
+ IV therapy
+ Chronic disease management and health teaching
Supporting clients with tracheostomy and/or ventilator needs (experience is an asset) Managing diabetes care (experience is an asset) Prioritizing care time over travel time with efficient scheduling

Qualifications

:

Qualifications

Education & Certification

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN) Current registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body Additional certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, deSouza) are assets

Experience

1-2 years of recent experience, preferably in a community setting Experience with pediatrics, diabetes management, g tubes, and trach/vent care is an asset

Other Requirements

Valid G2 or G Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle Willingness to travel within the Greater Hamilton/Burlington area in all weather conditions
