Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer service skills. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient service, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a team of employees to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service. Manage food preparation and cooking processes to meet safety and quality standards. Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for cash handling and transaction management. Lead, train, and mentor team members in food handling, customer service, and hospitality best practices. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with upper management on operational improvements and team performance evaluations.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership skills. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Micros POS preferred). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous experience in hospitality or barista roles is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Pay: $19.00-$22.50 per hour
