A&W Restaurant at 4th

avenue and Alma street in Vancouver is looking for a Shift Manager with at least 1 year of

supervisory

experience in a fast food restaurant.



Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Maintain positive climate in the restaurant.

-Hire, train and retain staff. Provide coaching and feedback.

-Focus on food cost, labour cost, paper cost. Monitor the reports closely to increase sales and profit.

-Focus on KPI's and controllables.

-Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.

-Implement all corporate promotions as required.

-Follow all Health dept. WCB and other legal requirements.

-Maintain and calibrate equipment as required. Implement daily upkeep procedures.

-Perform banking and payroll duties.

-Able to work all shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays.

-Demonstrate professionalism, integrity and positive attitude at all times.

-Full participation in all trainings and other events as deemed necessary.

Desired skills include:

Positive attitude and outlook.

Fast learner with excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.

Proficiency in computer skills, First aid Level 1 and Food safe Level 1.

Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to diffuse situations and exceed standards.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Desire to grow with the company.
