Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and service. Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to promote team development. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, enhancing the overall dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations. Utilize POS systems for cash handling, order processing, and inventory management. Assist in interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team aligned with our restaurant's values. Collaborate with upper management on operational strategies to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in restaurant management or supervisory roles. Strong knowledge of food handling practices, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective team collaboration. Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
