Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Shift Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our restaurant or runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure efficient operations. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Manage food preparation processes while adhering to food safety standards and regulations. Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance, fostering a positive team environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and service quality. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations. Prepare reports on shift performance, including sales figures, labor costs, and customer feedback.

Requirements

Proven experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or hotel industry. Strong understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in team management, including training and mentoring staff members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers alike. Previous experience in food preparation is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.95-$25.00 per hour
