Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Train, mentor, and manage team members to foster a positive work environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate POS transactions using Micros POS systems. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with upper management to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership. Energetic and can multitask with positive mindset in a challenging fast paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus. Pizza experience is an added advantage but not required.
