We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly during your shift, while also maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members to ensure efficient service and adherence to operational standards.
Manage food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in training new staff members in food service protocols, customer service techniques, and POS system usage.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food items.
Implement strategies to enhance team performance and foster a positive work atmosphere.
Experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong background in restaurant operations, including knowledge of food handling practices.
Proven ability to manage a team effectively, with excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
Experience in customer service roles, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
