• Successful completion of 120-day familiarization period.
• Satisfactory past job performance.
• Demonstrated proficiency with WMS
• Level 1 Forklift Course and proven safe operating history
• Ability to work on a rotating shift basis.
• Enroll in WHMIS Training Program.
• Physically capable of performing all required duties; i.e.

• Climbing, lifting, pulling, shoveling, pushing, carrying and piling all types of materials.
• Work in extreme temperatures, high humidity and dusty conditions.
• Ability to read small print under normal department Lighting conditions
• Function in a noisy environment and wear hearing protection as required.
• Work with all required safety equipment.
• Demonstrated mathematical and communication skills.
• Develop expert skills in and serve as a WMS and SAP Super User. Mentor and support the development of this skillset in peers and others requiring this knowledge
• Ensure understanding of Key warehouse standard work, OPL\xe2\x80\x99s, JHA\xe2\x80\x99s etc. to be able to coach utilize this information in a leading capacity.
• Provide a professional work environment with internal and external customers.

Duties:

• Working under the direction of and reporting to the Shift Supervisor.
• Lead the day-to-day activities on the shift.
• Function within the Distribution Department, Palletizing Line, Loading Docks, and Freezer.
• Work directly with Production and Q/C Departments.
• Lead the crew with routine training and refreshing of various warehouse tasks
• Responsible for forklift operators on shift who load/unload trucks and railcars, ensure proper counts, proper product conditions, and other duties.
• Responsible for all clerical assignments and documentation relating to this position.
• Provide leadership and direction to other workers while performing a variety of duties.
• Accurately /maintain all required documentation.
• Perform all duties safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Perform housekeeping in work area to maintain established standards.
• Champion all Continuous Improvement activities, deliver operator training and PEPs.
• Be able Trouble shoot SAP and WMS issues
• Be in a leadership position to break the shift supervisor during vacation.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ideally have 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience within a warehousing environment, with WMS experience
• Proven ability in leading people
