Locally owned and operated, we employ 20+ dedicated people.SummaryThe Sheet Metal Tradesperson will primarily follow directions from Northridge Project Manager and Metal Specialty Shop Foreman to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal production.Job Responsibilities Represent Metal Specialty and affiliated companies in a respectful manner Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal for Northridge Developments Ltd. and Metal Specialty Ltd. Answer calls for Metal Specialty, provide info to customers and work with them in a professional manner Study plans and specifications Select appropriate types of sheet metal, measure and mark dimensions, drill holes for screws, bolts, and rivets Use sheet metal machinery to cut, bend, and fasten Assist in training new employees Maintain equipment Keep current with safety regulations and participate in training courses provided by the company Cooperate with contractor, other trades, suppliers, and customers Other duties as requiredRequirements Certification from accredited post-secondary institution, personal tools, and PPE Valid training certificates Mechanical knowledge in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings considered an asset Time management skills Ability to do physical labour and work in all weather Be honest, trustworthy, and able to work well alone or with others Flexibility Valid Driver's LicenceWork Remotely
