Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Select equipment for residential and small commercial construction Measure and mark sheet metal according to template Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal Cut materials using power tools or by hand Operate CADD and other computer software systems Fit and join sheet metal parts Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
