Harbourview Sheet Metal Ltd. is an established Sheet Metal Contractor, and a member of Local 280 union specializing in multi-family, commercial, and institutional projects throughout the Lower Mainland. Our success is built on strong relationships with builders, developers, and trade partners -- and we're looking for a capable Superintendent to help lead our field operations for large-scale multi-family projects.

Position Overview

The Construction Superintendent oversees on-site project execution for our multi-family projects. This role is responsible for managing site coordination, safety, quality, and scheduling while leading crews and subcontractors to deliver exceptional results on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, strong leader, and has deep knowledge of mechanical installation practices within multi-family construction.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors to meet project schedules Collaborate with Project Managers, Foremen, and other trades to resolve site issues efficiently Conduct site meetings, inspections, and progress tracking reports Enforce company safety protocols and site housekeeping standards Review drawings and specifications to ensure work aligns with design intent Mentor and support field staff to foster a strong, high-performing team culture Re-Design and layout in suite ducting for installation efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years experience in a Superintendent, Foreman, or Site Lead role within multi-family construction Strong understanding of mechanical (HVAC/sheet metal) systems and installation sequencing Proven ability to manage project schedules, coordinate trades, and deliver results Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills Familiarity with digital construction tools (e.g. Procore, Knowify, or similar) Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean abstract required

Schedule
